WHAT IS THE BEST SEASON FOR A TREE SERVICE?
In summer (the growing season of a tree), it is easiest to evaluate the health of the tree and do minor trimming or thinning. However, during the months of November through March (a tree’s dormant stage), it is the best time for the health of the tree to do heavier pruning.
Keep in mind that with no leaves on the tree, we have better visibility when working along roads. Our job is also made easier during this time, not only because there are no leaves, but also because your flowers or lawn don't need to be avoided in order to be preserved.
Tree removal can be done anytime, however, trimming an oak tree will not be done until we have at least two good frosts.

DO I NEED A PERMIT TO REMOVE A TREE?
In most cases, you will not need a permit to remove a tree. Some municipalities in the area do require a permit for removing trees. It often depends on the size and the location of the tree, if the tree is a hazard or street tree, and if it's an invasive species.
